According to the structure and working principle of the motor, the motor can be divided into three parts: the brushless motor, the inner rotor and the outer rotor.
Brush motor: also known as DC motor or brush motor, it is the oldest and most numerous motor type at present. When the motor is working, the coil and commutator are rotating, and the magnet steel and carbon brush are not rotating. The AC change of coil current direction is completed by the rotation of commutator, brush and motor. The motor has the advantages of low cost, large torque, simple structure and convenient maintenance. However, due to the limitations of the structure, the disadvantages are more obvious: 1. The sparks generated by mechanical commutator and brush friction, electromagnetic interference, noise, short life. 2. It has complex structure, poor reliability, many faults and needs frequent maintenance. 3. Due to the existence of commutator, the further decline of rotor inertia is limited, which affects the dynamic performance of rotor. Therefore, brush motor is rarely used in the mold boundary, which is mainly used for the vehicle model and ship model with slow speed and insensitive to vibration.
BLDCM: This is a brush motor mold industry. In addition to the use of external motors, the use of mechanical brush free devices for BLDCM, the use of square wave self-control permanent magnet synchronous motor, and the replacement of carbon brushes and commutator rotors with Hall sensors in NdFeB permanent magnet materials have a great advantage over the general traditional DC motor. It has the advantages of high efficiency, low energy consumption, low noise, long service life, high reliability, servo control, stepless frequency control, etc. It is more expensive than brush, not easy to maintain, widely used in navigation model, high-speed car model and ship model.
However, a single BLDCM is not a complete power system, so the BLDCM must be controlled by the BLDCM controller, that is, electric regulation, in order to achieve continuous operation. The general BLDCM rotates with the winding, while the BLDCM rotates with the external and internal magnets. So any motor is composed of stator and rotor.
The stator of the BLDCM is the part that generates the rotating magnetic field and supports the rotor. It is mainly composed of silicon steel sheet, enameled wire, bearing and supporting parts. The rotor adopts bonded NdFeB magnet. It is a rotating part under the action of stator rotating magnetic field. It is mainly composed of shaft, magnet and supporting parts. In addition, the number of poles composed of stator and rotor will also affect the speed and torque of the motor.
